Gaylord Northern Squares

We had a good dance at the Northern Squares. Roscommon Circle Squares visited.

Friday Sept. 24

Les Fuhrman’s funeral was yesterday(9-24-4). He will be missed very much. I found out that the house where Les and Dort live was the house Les’s parents brought him to when he was one. He lived in that house for 90 years.
Last night we danced with Davison. They had a good crowd. We enjoyed ourselves.
Tonight I will be calling at Gaylord Northern Squares.

Wylie Coyotes class

We had 3 squared for DBD class Wednesday evening. There was 2 sets for advanced.
It looks like we will have a lot of fun.
We are talking about having a dance October 30 near Mount Pleasant. More information later.

Dancing at Lakeview

Jan and I went to Lakeview to dance with Tamarack Twirlers. Perk and Georgie Perkins did a great job and we had a great time.

Roadrunner dance

Friday’s Roadrunner dance was a success. We had a good crowd at our dance and a great potluck. All Roadrunner Friday dances will alternate mainstream and plus tips this year. New classes will start next Tuesday (Sept. 21).

Classes

The Roadrunner’s free new dancer dance was a success.
New DBD and Advanced classes will start tonight at the Flushing Senior Center. DBD will start at 6:30 and Advanced at 8:00. See you there.

Free Dance

The Roadrunners will be having their free new dancer dance this evening at the church starting at 7:00.

Roadrunner's Campout

The Roadrunner campout was a lot of fun. We went to Durand to dance Friday. Saturday we had a dance at the campground. As normal we had lots to eat.

Wylie Coyotes

Wylie Coyotes Had a small dance but we had a lot of fun. We got the final proof of our badges and ordered them.

MSDLA Labor Day Workshop

The MSDLA workshop was very good this year. We spend a lot of time working on things each of needed help on.

Michigan Square Dance Leaders

We will be leaving for Frankenmuth today for the MSDLA Labor Day Workshop. DARRYL CLENDENIN will be leading the workshop. Tonight will be a dance with local callers and Darryl will be calling Friday and Saturday nights.

Wylie Coyotes

There was no Wylie Coyotes last night. Next week (9-8) will be the DBD & Advanced dance. Wednesday September 15 we will start new classes in DBD and advanced. The DBD will be 6:30 – 8:00 and advanced 8:00 – 9:30. Advanced will start with A1 and continue thru A2. All are welcome.
